Dundalk sweeps Allegany

BALTIMORE — Dundalk exploded for 21 runs and 26 hits to sweep Allegany, 9-1 and 12-4, at CCBC-Dundalk on Wednesday.

Gianna Marchini went five innings, allowing one run on five hits for the Lions in the first game. Hannah Thomas belted a home run and Rebecca Plantholt had four hits.

Bailey Sinai launched a homer for the Trojans.

Corrie Seitler started game two and got the win for Dundalk and hit two home runs at the plate. Tori Miller added three hits.

Sinai led the Trojans with three hits while Danielle Smith smacked two singles.

Allegany (1-5) plays a doubleheader against Harford on Monday, 1 p.m., at Cavanaugh Field.
