Man, 30, found dead of apparent stabbing

CUMBERLAND — An unidentified 30-year-old man was found deceased of an apparent stab wound inside a residence in the 300 block of Davidson Street early Tuesday, according to the Cumberland Police Department.

A 911 call for an unresponsive male was received by the Allegany County emergency center at about 2:50 a.m. A Cumberland Fire Department ambulance responded to the scene but there was no transport.

Cumberland Police, C3I investigators and crime scene technicians remained at the scene late Tuesday morning continuing their investigation into the incident.

Further details were not available late Tuesday afternoon.
