The second annual New Germany State Park Chili Cook-off was held at the park’s lake house on Saturday. Prizes were awarded in three categories: Home-style, Fiery Cauldron and Ladle of Glory (best overall). In addition, cross-country skis and snowshoes were available for rent at the lake house.  Larry Roby, Rent-A-Chef from Oakland, samples a bowl of chili made by Danielle Martin of Oakland. Roby also participated in the event with a traditional and spicy chili.
