Southern JROTC sets fundraiser

OAKLAND — Southern Garrett High School JROTC will conduct a fundraiser June 17 in conjuction with Uno Restaurant at Deep Creek Lake.

A coupon is available at the JROTC website www.http://garrettcountyschools.org/southern-high-jrotc.

Up to 20 percent of purchases will go toward the JROTC program.

 

Cresaptown has Dumpster sites

CRESAPTOWN — The Allegany County commissioners have contracted with Advanced Disposal to place Dumpsters at the Cresaptown Sports Complex, off Darrow’s Lane, and the Allegany County Fairgrounds, Moss Avenue, for the use of residents who suffered damage due to the recent flooding.

The Dumpsters will be available through June 20.
