'Peter Pan Jr.' headed to Front & Centre

— CUMBERLAND — Front & Centre Stage will present Disney’s “Peter Pan Jr.” July 25-27 and Aug. 1-3 at the New Embassy Theatre, 49 Baltimore St.

“Fly away to Neverland with Peter and the Darling children in Disney’s adaptation of this beloved animated film,” said Front & Centre spokeswoman Jenny Krampf.

Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7 p.m. and Sunday performances are at 2 p.m. Based on the Disney film and J.M. Barrie’s play, Disney’s “Peter Pan Jr.” is a modern version of the timeless tale about a boy who wouldn’t grow up.

“Wendy Darling loves to tell stories to her brothers, Michael and John. But when her father announces she must move out of the nursery, Peter Pan comes to visit the children and whisks them away to Never Land. Their adventure introduces them to the Lost Boys, Mermaids, Indians and even the infamous pirate, Captain Hook,” said Krampf

Heading the cast is Trevor McCabe as Peter Pan, Brielle Windle as Tinkerbell, and Conner McCabe as Captain Hook. The Darling Family will be played by Savannah Humbertson as Wendy, Guy Witt as John, Donny Ness at Michael, and Tessa Deatelhauser as Mrs. Darling.

Heading up Hook’s band of pirates will be Brendon McCabe as Smee with Ellie Ness, Eliza Griffith, Alexandra Rozas, Jacob Wilson, Payton Chronister, Beth Clise and Lili Ashenfelter.

Pan’s Lost Boys will be Hannah Tucker, Ava Breighner, Taber Robinette, Lily Tucker, Hayden Davis, and Kamden Morgan.

A visit to the Indian Camp will feature Ben Benson as Chief Tiger Bamboo and Mary Wollan as Tiger Lily.

Tinkerbell’s fairy friends will be played by Nina Wollan, Casey Miller, Gwendolyn Gurtler, Alexa Moore, Jocelyn Weston, & Ariadine Witmer-Bosley.

The show is directed and choreographed by Jordan Kline and Kimberli Rowley with music direction by Chris McCabe.
