Nancy Bannon of Bethesda peruses brochures at the Allegany County tourism office, 13 Canal Place, on Wednesday afternoon. Bannon was traveling to the Savage River Lodge in Garrett County from Montgomery County when she decided to stop in Cumberland to “explore the downtown area and take some photos.”
