FSU expansion

Work continues on Frostburg State University’s Center for Communication and Information Technology. When completed next year, the building will house the academic departments of mass communication, computer science and mathematics and the graphic design program of the Department of Visual Arts. The university’s radio and TV stations will also have studios in the building. Among the building’s features will be a “green” roof planted with vegetation designed to reduce the school’s carbon footprint and a multi-media learning center featuring a planetarium. The architect for the project is Ayers Saint Gross, Baltimore.
