Teal Steel members strike up a tune at Mineral Fair

— Frankfort Middle School’s drum ensemble, Teal Steel, directed by Fred Kesner, performed at the Mineral County Fair Tuesday evening. Front row from the left are Hannah Raines, Troy Baker, Zachary Helminiak and Sarah Thomas. Back row: Logan Pfaff, Brooke Snyder, Bethany Wotring, Danny Morlen and Kesner. Teal Steel has a new CD available called “Play Dat Ting,’’ along with two more CDs recorded in 2005 and 2006. The band also has a Christmas Holiday CD with a Caribbean flavor.
