— Nearly 100 members of the Frostburg community, both Frostburg State University students and year-round residents, joined together for a Peace March on Tuesday prior to the Sustaining Campus and Community Dialogue. The dialogue is designed to create safe living conditions and civil relationships between long- and short-term residents in Frostburg. The group began near Old Main on the FSU campus and walked to the Lyric Building on Main Street for the dialogue session. The march celebrated the American Bar Association’s Mediation Week and the Association for Conflict Resolution’s International Conflict Resolution Day. It was sponsored by the Frostburg Sustaining Campus and Community Dialogue Series, FSU’s intercultural communication class, the FSU department of philosophy and the Peace Studies Club of Allegany College of Maryland.
