C3I has provided this video surveillance photo from the Wednesday armed robbery of the Susquehanna Bank in LaVale at 936 National Highway at 10:18 a.m. The suspect approached a teller and displayed a handgun as he demanded money. He placed the money in a black satchel before leaving the bank via the same rear door through which he entered. While the robber was walking across the parking lot, a dye pack within the money exploded. Police said the man is likely to have red dye on his clothing and person. The suspect is about 6 feet tall with an average build. Tips may be given to Maryland State Police at 301-729-2101 or C3I at 301-777-0326. Anonymous calls may be placed to Allegany/Mineral County Crime Solvers at 301-722-4300. A reward of up to $1,500 is possible.
