Mountain City Center for the Arts, Frostburg, demonstrates support for breast cancer awareness during a Pink Party held to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Owner Coty Warn organized an evening of performances by Erin Dettinburn, Christian Robinson, Jessica Seminerio, Ian Sullivan, Maddie Bohrer, Amy Milligan and the students of MCCA. All the pieces had a breast cancer awareness focus and included songs, dances, monologues and more. The evening concluded with a flash mob with parents and students participating. Warn said the goal of the event was “to celebrate life, but also helped to remind all of us that cancer is still a fight that touches almost everyone in some way.”
