— Using air bags, divers from the Maryland Natural Resources Police on Thursday floated to the surface the Deep Creek Lake State Park work boat that had sunk the day before. NRP Sgt. Brian Albert told the Times-News at the time that park personnel, realizing the moored boat was taking on water, attempted to drive it to a shallow area, but the vessel rolled and went under. No injuries were reported. Park officials would not comment, pending completion of an official report.
