Workshop on health careers today

CUMBERLAND — The Allegany County One-Stop Job Center, McMullen Building, 138 Baltimore St., will hold a workshop Nov. 15 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. to help people prepare for a health care provider job fair scheduled next week. To register for the workshop, call 301-777-1221, ext. 311 or email ewagner@dllr.

The job fair will be held Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon with employers Allegany Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Comfort Keepers, Dawnview Center, Devlin Manor, Golden Living Center, Moran Manor, ProCare Home Health Providers, Rest Assured Living Center and Tender Loving Home Care. Positions include certified nursing assistants, in-home nursing assistants, geriatric nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses and support staff.

Job seekers should be professionally dressed, have copies of resumes and be prepared for an interview.
