Driver injured in I-68 crash at Flintstone

CUMBERLAND — One person was injured in a “rollover” accident Tuesday at the 53-mile marker of Interstate 68 in the Flintstone area, according to the Allegany County 911 Center.

Flintstone Ambulance took the injured man to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries following the 8:30 a.m. crash on westbound I-68.

Maryland State Police investigated. Flintstone and Baltimore Pike volunteer fire units also responded to the scene upon alert by the 911 center.
