Garrett County has hunter education courses

Being taught at Accident, Bittinger, Grantsville, Bloomington

OAKLAND — Four hunter education courses are scheduled for various Garrett County locations. Successful completion of the course is required of first-time hunting license buyers.

• July 22, 24, 26, Calvary Tabernacle in Accident, classes start at 6 p.m., call 301-501-6514.

• Aug. 26, 28, 30, Casselman Valley Sportsmen’s Club in Grantsville, classes start at 6 p.m., call 301-895-3335.

• Sept. 6,7, Western Maryland 4H Center, Bittinger, call 301-334-6960.

• Sept. 13, 14, Bloomington Fire Department, go to to register online.
