Motorcyclist severely injured on I-68 east of city

CUMBERLAND — A motorcyclist reportedly suffered serious injuries Friday morning in an accident on westbound Interstate 68 east of the Cumberland city limits.

Maryland State Police responded to the mishap that occurred at about 9:25 a.m.

Allegany County 911 Emergency Center alerted Baltimore Pike and Bedford Road fire and rescue units to the accident.
