Mineral residents accused of thefts

More than $4,000 worth of items taken from Walmart

OAKLAND — Both the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police on Thursday arrested people who are accused of stealing from Walmart.

The sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division wrapped up a two-week investigation of three Mineral County, W.Va., residents who allegedly stole more than $4,000 worth of items from the Oakland Walmart.

Deputies assisted by the Mineral County Sheriff’s Department and West Virginia State Police Keyser Detachment executed two search warrants at the homes of Alicia Dawn Lucas, 29, Elk Garden, and Jeremy Alan Mongold, 34, and Kenneth Robertson Henderson, 33, both of New Creek.

All three were charged with theft between $1,000 and $10,000 and conspiracy for theft on warrants from Garrett County and were held in the Mineral County Detention Center awaiting bond hearings. They are facing charges in West Virginia as well.

A Wisconsin couple were arrested by Maryland State Police on Interstate 68 in Grantsville.

The trooper located items reportedly stolen from Walmart stores from Indiana to the East Coast in the 7:45 a.m. traffic stop.

Jon Francis Raddatz, 32, was charged with theft less than $1,000. Brandy Anita Houser, 27, was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance, not marijuana, and paraphernalia.

Both are from Appleton and were held in the Garrett County Detention Center.
