Allegany jayvees roar past Frankfort

CUMBERLAND — Tyler Eirich scored two touchdowns and a two-point conversion to lead the undefeated Allegany junior varsity over Frankfort, 36-0, Monday night at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

The Campers’ first score came on a 25-yard pass from Carson Imes to Darick Kerns in the first quarter, with Imes hitting Brendan Daugherty for the two-point conversion.

Eirich scored his first touchdown on a 10-yard run in the second quarter, and Darian King, the leading rusher in the game with 160 yards, scored on an eight-yard run, then took in an Imes pass for the two-pointer to make it 22-0 at the half.

Daugherty scored on a 15-yard run in the third, with Eirich going in for two before Eirich concluded the scoring on a three-yard TD run in the fourth.

Imes was 7 for 14 passing for 119 yards. Allegany rushed for 323 yards, with King’s longest run going for 75 yards. Jordan Patterson stood out defensively.

Allegany (5-0) will play again Monday, 7 p.m., at Southern.
