King, Imes lead Allegany JV’s over Huskies

— ACCIDENT — The Allegany junior varsity stayed undefeated with a 50-7 win over Northern on Monday at Northern.

Darian King rushed for 117 yards on 10 carries and scored on a 67-yard pass from Carson Imes. King accounted for 262  total yards. Imes was 6-for-7 passing for 149 yards and rushed for 50 yards on three carries. Darick Kerns caught two touchdown pass covering 4 and 20 yards.

Brendan Daugherty scored two touchdowns and rushed for 93 yards on six carries for Alco, while Tyler Eirich scored two touchdowns and rushed for 53 yards on nine carries.

Allegany (4-0) will host Frankfort Monday at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

KEYSER, W.Va. — Keyser scored two fourth quarter touchdowns to come from behind to defeat Mountain Ridge on Thursday at Tornado Alley.

Deavanta Johnson caught Camden White’s 30-yard pass in the end zone and then ran in the two-point conversion to give the Golden Tornado a 15-8 lead over the Miners.

Dalton Wilt broke loose on a 54-yard run and Jose Morales kick sealed Keyser’s first victory in two games.

Johnson, who finished with 112 all-purpose yards, gave Keyser a 7-0 lead on a 42-yard first quarter run and Morales kick.

The Miners (0-2) took an 8-7 lead early in the fourth quarter when Daniel Bittinger scored on a 19-yard run and then ran in the two-point conversion.

Johnson, who led Keyser with 11 tackles, gained 65 yards rushing, 30 receiving and had 17 return yards. Wilt finished with 67 yards on four attempts.

White passed for 41 yards on 2-of-5 attempts with an interception. Preston Didawick had nine tackles and Justin Burgess seven including two sacks. Seth Coleman had an interception.

Keyser (1-1) hosts Allegany on Thursday, Oct. 17.
