KEYSER, W.Va. — Breven Stubbs scored six touchdowns to lead the Cumberland Cardinals to a 37-12 victory over the Cumberland Saints in a battle of unbeaten teams in the Pee Wee B Team Super Bowl Sunday at Keyser.
Stubbs ran for five first-half touchdowns and returned an interception 55 yards for his final score in the second half.
His first score covered 34 yards. He followed that with touchdown runs of 44, 45, 55 and 25 yards.
The Saints (11-1) became the first team to score against the Cardinals when Bryce Schadt scored on a three-yard run. He finished the scoring with a one-yard touchdown run in the second half.
Defensively, the Cardinals (12-0) were led by linebacker Mikey Allen as well as Jalyn Wilson, Thomas Lee, C.J. Hammersmith and Buddy Bridges.
