Parsons team wins in cardoff

RAWLINGS - Rich Parsons, Gary Bradfield, Ed Baldwin and Dave Welker teamed for a 31 and won a cardoff to take first place in the Men's Golf Association nine-hole scramble Thurssday evening at the Fore Sisters Golf Club.

Second place went to the team of Greg Miller, Butch Rowley, Russ Clouden and Bob Broadwater.

Pin winners were John Tipping on No. 11, Dale Cosner on No. 15 and Jerry Robinette on No. 18.

The second-place team in Wednesday morning's tournament was incorrectly reported. The actual second-place team was John Tipping, Junior O'Neal, James Powell and Jesse Jones.
