Zaloga team shoots 58, takes Friday Maplehurst tournament

FROSTBURG - The first-flight winning team, in a cardoff at 58, was Tony Zaloga, Nick Zaloga, Fred Surgent and Mary Siemann in golf Friday at Maplehurst Country Club. The second-place team, also at 58, was Kevin Robison, Doc Daugherty, Aaron Stevens and Donnie Rose.

The second-flight winners, in a cardoff at 63, were Mike Stevens, Ken Alkire, Corey Alkire and Bill Evans, with the team of Lum Winters, Richard Grandstaff, John Kinnie and Walt Simpson, also at 63, finishing second.

Closest to pins were Steve Hanson (No. 2), Mike Stevens (No. 7), Aaron Stevens (No. 10) and Daugherty (No. 15.). Butch Blank had the longest drive on No. 5.
