RAWLINGS - The Fourth annual Mother's Day Golf Tournament to benefit the Tri-State Ovarian Cancer Alliance was held Saturday at Fore Sisters Golf Course in Rawlings.
The Mark Tysinger Team won the gross division with a 61 while the Kelco Credit Union Team took second with a 62.
LaVale's Ken Alkire Team won the net division with a 54. Somerset, Pa., shot a 56 for second place, beating the Sam Sensabaugh team by card-off.
Closest to pin winners were Hole 4, Al Snyder (No. 4, 12-feet, 8-inches), Shawn VanMeter (No. 7, 2'7") and Adam Brenneman (No. 9, 10'7" and No. 11, 8").
Longest Drive; Hole 14, Butch Blank had the longest drive on No. 14 and Dave Morgan sank the longest putt - 55 feet - on the 18th hole.
This tournament benefits the local ovarian cancer awareness education program and 32 teams participated.
