Reeves team takes Grasshoppers tournament at Rock Harbor

— WINCHESTER, Va. - The team of Bob Reeves, Walter Simpson, Dave Van Meter and Elmer Loar shot a 66 to win the Western Maryland Grasshoppers shamble on Tuesday at the Rock Harbor Golf Course.
Taking second place in a card-off were Mark Malone, Dave Duckworth, Mike McLuckie and John Kreitzburg with a 67.
Joe Wiley and Joe McRoby shot 74s to tie for low individual honors.
Closest to the pins were Norm Filsinger on No. 2, Nancy Luse on No. 7, Bob Smith on No. 11, Curtis Clary on No. 13, and Dave Duckworth on No. 14.
The next outing will be at Whitetail Golf Resort in Mercersburg, Pa., on Tuesday. Players must call Frank Shepherd at (304) 738-1559 no later than 9 p.m. on Sunday to signup.
