Southern gets win at Gap

FLINTSTONE — Brady Donaldson shot a 41 and Billy Gindlesberger had a 43 to lead Southern to victory over Frankfort, Fort Hill at Mountain Ridge in a high school golf quadrangular Thursday afternoon at Rocky Gap.

Southern won with a team score of 190. Frankfort was second with 209, followed by Fort Hill with 212 and Mountain Ridge with 223.

Austin Cook was low for Frankfort with 48. Shane Walker led Fort Hill with a 49 and Joe Patterson led Mountain Ridge with a 51.

Southern (13-3) will host Tucker County at the Oakland Golf Club on Monday at 4 p.m.
