Petersburg sweeps

PETERSBURG, W.Va. - Petersburg swept Keyser, the girls winning, 7-0, and the boys winning, 5-2.

Winning singles matches for Petersburg, in order of seeding, were Emily Harman, Jessica Kopple, Ashley Mongold and Michaela Boyce.

In doubles, the teams of Harman and Kopple, Mongold and Boyd and Joanna Rodgers and Heather Keplinger won for the Vikings.

In the boys match, singles victories came from Dylan Riggleman, Neil Garton and Matt Alt. Winning in doubles for the Vikings were the teams of Riggleman and Moe Foley, and Brandon Bates and Will George.

For Keyser, Andy Miller took a tie-breaker, 7-2, to defeat Petersburg's Moe Foley, and the Keyser doubles team of Caleb Jones and Cody Lambka also won.

Petersburg (both teams 2-1) will host Hampshire today, while Keyser (both 1-1) will play today at Fort Hill.
