FLINTSTONE - Jacob Foreman and Michael Clingerman combined to throw a two-hitter in Flintstone/Oldtown's 5-4 win over Stewart, Barr, and Thorne Tuesday evening in Hot Stove action.
Clingerman contributed a two-run single for Flintstone, and Ben Hoopengardner poked two singles. Flintstone built a 3-0 lead in the first, but saw the score become tied at three after the top of the fifth.
Corey Yakabow registered 10 strikeouts for Stewart, Barr and Thorne (7 1/2-2 1/2).
Flintstone (8-2) plays Thursday in Moorefield against Summit Financial. Stewart, Barr and Thorne will play Friday against the Ridgeley VFW in Moorefield.
Rotary 10
Markwood Ford 7

POTOMAC PARK - Andrew Harper had two singles and four runs batted in and Rotary put eight runs on the board in the fifth inning to defeat Markwood Ford Tuesday at Hamilton Field.
Curtis Deter doubled and singled to knock in three runs for Rotary and, in the sixth inning, with the bases loaded, made an outstanding catch in center field to help end a Markwood rally.
Tyler Fraley doubled and singled for Markwood Ford.
Rotary (10 1/2-1 1/2) will play today at John Kruk Field against the Keyser Yankees. Markwood Ford (4 1/2-6 1/2) will play Thursday at John Kruk Field against Hartley's Pizza.
Bill Miller 13

ELLERSLIE - Shane Torbet had a double and two singles and knocked in three runs to lead Bill Miller Equipment over Summit Financial Tuesday at Ellerslie.
Derrick Sisk doubled and singled to knock in four runs for Bill Miller, while Shawn Hibbard singled twice for Summit and Tanner Sherman singled twice to knock in two run runs.
Monday at Petersburg, Bill Miller defeated American Component, 13-7, as Tyler Hetrick had two singles and a double and three RBIs. Sisk had two singles and three RBIs, while Haden Schircliff had two singles and a double.
David Taylor hit a home run and a single for American Component and Matt Hahn tripled.
Bill Miller (7-5) will play Monday at Hamilton Field against the Keyser Yankees.
Medicine Shoppe 3
NewPage 2

WESTERNPORT - Michael Harden doubled and singled to knock in two runs to lead Medicine Shoppe to a victory over NewPage Tuesday.
Daniel Cunningham had two singles for Medicine Shoppe, which scored two runs in the fourth and one in the sixth.
Dave Hobel went the distance for Medicine Shoppe to get the win, giving up six hits, striking out eight while walking just one.
Cody Parsons had a pair of singles for NewPage and Cody Hickey doubled.
Medicine Shoppe (3-8) will play Thursday at Holler Field against the Cresaptown Eagles.
Frost. 1st United 15
Cresaptown Eagles 9

BEL AIR - Frostburg and Cresaptown combined for 18 runs in the first three innings, but First United went on to outslug the Eagles for the win Tuesday evening in Bel Air.
Neal Eshelman had three runs batted in with two singles, Cody Hovatter hit a triple and a single, and Will Clausen hit two singles to drive in two. Ryan Garlitz added two singles, and Justin Boyle had three RBIs and one single.
T.J. Llewellyn hit a triple and a single, and Ian Sullivan struck a three-run triple for Cresaptown. Sean Collette had a double.
First United (4-8) plays Thursday at Hampshire versus American Insurance. The Eagles will play Medicine Shoppe at Holler Field on Thursday.
Culver Design 6
Hartley's Pizza 2

POTOMAC PARK - Alexor Moore struck out 12 and allowed just two hits, zero through the first five innings, and his Culver Design pulled out a win over Hartley's Pizza despite getting just three hits of their own.
Oliver Douthitt hit a two-run single in the fifth inning to lift Culver's lead to 4-2, and Isaiah Chaney had the team's other two hits, both singles.
Sibley pitched a complete game and allowed just three singles in the loss.
Culver Design (6 1/2-3 1/2) will play at Hampshire against Kiwanis on Friday. Hartley's will play Markwood Ford on Thursday at Keyser.
Keyser Yankees 4
Young's/Optimist 3

POTOMAC PARK - Aaron Carr belted a three-run double in the third, and Scott Smith had an RBI single in the seventh to account for all of Keyser Yankees runs in their 4-3 win over Young's/Optimist Monday night.
Carr's double gave the Yankees a 3-0 lead, while Smith's second single broke a 3-3 tie. Smith and starter Tim Sirk combined for 12 strikeouts.
Forrest Crass hit a double and was driven home by a Aaron Boyer single in the sixth inning for Young's.
Keyser (5-6) plays today at home against Rotary. Young's/Optimist will play the Keyser Moose in Keyser on Thursday.
Wisp 15
D&D Homes 13

LONACONING - The Wisp rallied from a 12-5 deficit with 10 runs in the sixth inning and defeated D&D Homes Monday evening at Westmar High School.
Patrick Brady had a triple and a single, Andrew Sisler had a double and a single, and Brian Umbole hit a pair of singles and had a pair of RBIs. Alex Smith also had two base hits.
Justin Custer scored three runs on a triple and a single, Chris Bradley drove in a run on a couple of singles, and Ryan Reddinger singled three times to finish with two RBIs.
The Wisp (5 1/2-5 1/2) plays New Page/G&S Coal on Thursday, at Northern. D&D will play on Thursday at Oakland against State Farm.
