Casselman, Chessie roll

Casselman Valley pounded out 14 hits to score 10 runs in a win over Fort Ashby Friday evening under the lights at Salisbury, 10-2.

Richard Vogt had three of the 12 hits, all singles, and drove in a run. James Baer had two doubles and two RBIs, while Corey Carr, Ben Diehl and Aaron Beiler each had a RBI single.

Winning pitcher Brandon Beachy doubled and single to drive in one run, and Tyler Southerly singled twice and drove in a pair of runs.

For Fort Ashby, Colton Jones doubled.

Beachy and Carr combined for eight strikeouts, and three hits allowed.

Casselman Valley evens its record to 7-7. It will play Barrelville ODC at home, 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Ashby will host American Legion on Monday.
