Keplinger lifts Petersburg past Pendleton 2-0

FRANKLIN, W.Va. — Ben Keplinger scored in the first half and Chase Feaster scored in the second, lifting Petersburg past Pendleton County.

Keplinger’s goal was unassisted, while Feaster’s goal came on an assist from Josh Evans.

Petersburg dominated in shots, 23-3. Goalkeeper Matt Alt got the shutout with two saves. Pendleton’s Justin Martin had 12.

Petersburg (1-2) hosts Pocahontas County tonight and travels to Keyser on Friday.
