North Marion beats Petersburg 5-1

PETERSBURG, W.Va. — North Marion, ranked fourth among Class AAA teams, got goals from five players and beat Petersburg, 5-1, Saturday afternoon.

Preston Parker, Lucas Palmer, Cody Elaw, Aaron Amos and Christian Collins scored for unbeaten North Marion. Josh Evans scored for Petersburg late in the second half.

Chase Feaster made 14 saves in goal for Petersburg.

Petersburg hosted Berkeley Springs last night.
