Atlantic Broadband signs deal to carry NFL Network

CUMBERLAND - Atlantic Broadband has announced it will carry the full NFL Network schedule, giving fans access to eight exclusive late-season primetime NFL games.
"We are pleased to have reached an agreement with the NFL Network," said Dave Dane, Atlantic Broadband Vice President and Regional General Manager.
"Atlantic Broadband has been a terrific supporter of NFL Network's year-round programming and we are thankful this agreement now extends to include the key Run to the Playoffs package of games," said NFL Network's Brian Decker.
With nearly 2,000 hours of year-round original programming that covers every facet of the sport of football, Atlantic Broadband will air the NFL Network's eight live regular-season games beginning with the Nov. 22 Indianapolis Colts-Atlanta Falcons contest and including the Dec. 20 Pittsburgh Steelers-St. Louis Rams game.
Also on the NFL Network game schedule this season are: Green Bay vs. Dallas (Nov. 29), Chicago vs. Washington (Dec. 6), Denver vs. Houston (Dec. 13), Cincinnati vs. San Francisco (Dec. 15), Dallas vs. Carolina (Dec. 22) and New England vs. New York Giants (Dec. 29).
The NFL Network will be available to Atlantic Broadband Digital Service subscribers.
Atlantic Broadband (Penn LLC) serves 145,000 customers in central Pennsylvania and nearby areas of Maryland, West Virginia and New York.
In 2007, NFL Network will air nearly 200 football games, including eight regular season NFL games, 52 preseason games, 98 game replays, Super Bowl and NFL Classics, plus the Insight Bowl, Texas Bowl and Senior Bowl. NFL Network airs seven days a week, 24 hours a day on a year-round basis and is the first television network fully dedicated to the NFL and the sport of football.
