Southern sweeps Keyser

KEYSER, W.Va. — Southern’s Krista Hollingsworth and Seth Lewis ran to first-place finishes and led the Rams to a sweep of Keyser in high school cross country on Tuesday.
Southern won the girls meet 22-37 and pulled out the boys meet by 25-32.
Hollingsworth won the girls meet with a time of 22:15, followed by runner-up Hannah Biser of Keyser in 22:31.
The Rams had seven runners among the top 10 finishers.
Southern’s Lindsey Smith (22:53) and Jennifer Cosner (23:04) and Keyser’s Chelsea Willis (23:16) rounded out the top five.
In the boys meet, Lewis took first place with a time of 18:59, winning a battle with Keyser’s Ryan Shreve by four seconds.
Keyser’s Paven Rohrbaugh finished third in 19:16, and Southern’s Cooper Thomas (19:55) and Josh Arnold (19:56) filled out the top five.
The Golden Tornado will host a multi-team meet on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
