Directions to M&T Bank Stadium
BALTIMORE — Saturday at noon, the Fort Hill Sentinels will play the Dunbar Poets for the Maryland Class 1A state football championship. The following directions to M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore can be found on the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association web site, www.mpssaa.org:
Take I-95 to the exit for I-395 for Downtown Baltimore. Merge right to go onto Martin Luther King Boulevard and then take the Russell Street exit. The exit ends at Lee Street. You may turn to the right or to the left to gain access into parking areas. Parking will be open two hours prior to game time and will be monitored.
The parking fee is $5 per vehicle.
The MPSSAA also reminds fans attending the game the following items are prohibited at M&T Bank Stadium: air horns, backpacks, beverages, binocular cases, bottles, camera cases, containers, coolers, fanny packs, flag/banner poles, fires, fryers, grills, grocery-type bags, large purses, laser pointers, plastic bags, thermos bottles, tote bags, weapons and whistles.
Seats remain on spectator bus
CUMBERLAND — Seats are still available on a second spectator bus chartered for the Fort Hill-Dunbar state championship game Saturday in Baltimore. The bus will depart the Big Lots parking lot in White Oak Shopping Center no later than 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The game begins at noon. For information, call (301) 697-0070 or (814) 356-3133.
Marathon training programs set

LAVALE — Training programs for the inaugural Mountain Maryland Marathon and shorter events begin this month.
The marathon, half marathon and 5K (3.1-mile) events, as well as the children’s marathon, all are scheduled for April 19, 2009.
Life Fitness Management, presenting sponsor for the County United Way benefit, is overseeing the training for participants in the 5K (3.1-mile) event. That program, coordinated by Life Fitness Management personal trainer Connie Milligan, begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday at Life Fitness Management. The facility is located at 1226 National Highway in LaVale.
The class will meet weekly and participants will learn the basics of running and training for a 5K run. The first class will consist of a running assessment, Treadmill 101 and an indoor run. Participants should wear a good pair of running shoes.
The cost of the class is $75 for gym members and $95 for non-members and lasts 17 weeks. For more information call (301) 729-2275.
Training for the marathon and half marathon events will be coordinated by the Mountain Maryland Marathon Club and begins Dec. 13. The cost of the program is equal to each runner’s entry fee.

Fore Sisters MGA meets Saturday
LAVALE — The Fore Sisters Men’s Golf Association will meet for breakfast on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m. at the Ponderosa Steak House. All MGA members are invited to attend.
Tri-County coaches meet Sunday
