KEYSER, W.Va. — Luetta Emmart Miller, 81, of 164 Parkview Drive, Keyser, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.

Born on March 22, 1925, in Mineral County, she was a daughter of the late Milford Cline and Viola Blanche (Harrison) Rotruck. Thrice married, she was preceded in death by all three husbands, Stanley W. Dantzic on Dec. 18, 1965, Harry P. Emmart Jr. on July 18, 1985, and Preston R. Miller on Nov. 24, 1995. She also was preceded in death by a son, Stanley W. "Danny" Dantzic II; and a sister, Juanita Rotruck.

Mrs. Miller was retired as secretary-treasurer at Boggs Supply in Keyser with over 50 years of service. She was a longtime, active and dedicated member of the Keyser Church of the Brethren, where she served as deaconess, served on the bereavement committee and was named a Gold Star Mother. A 1943 graduate of Keyser High School, she also served as a volunteer with the Faith in Action Food Pantry and was a member of the Burlington Ruritan Club and the Mineral County CEOS (Homemakers).

Surviving are three sons, Steven “Chip” Dantzic and wife Susan of Odessa, Fla., Tim Dantzic and wife Tara of Keyser, and Shawn Dantzic and wife Mary of Walkersville; one daughter, Suzy Marsh and husband Steve of Rapid City, S.D.; and a daughter-in-law, Sidney “Polly” Dantzic of Connellsville, Pa. Also surviving are two stepdaughters, Debra Emmart of Charlottesville, Va. and Carla Emmart of Frederick; a stepson, the Rev. Preston L. Miller and wife Naomi of Burlington; five grandchildren, Amy and Ashley Tucker and Nathan, Aubrey and Brent Dantzic; two very special great-grandchildren, Briana and Camden Amoruso; and a number of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Thomas Rotruck of Chicago, Ill. and John Rotruck and wife Judy of Greensboro, N.C.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Thursday, May 25 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Keyser Church of the Brethren on Friday, May 26 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dwight Ramsey officiating. Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Keyser Church of the Brethren Building Fund, earmarked for the Stafford Property, 152 S. Main St., Keyser, WV 26726.
