Potomac State beats Westmoreland, 96-82

KEYSER - Eli Crawford scored 24 points, had 11 rebounds and seven assists and, along with Chad Wilson, hit key buckets down the stretch to lead the Potomac State Catamounts over Westmoreland County Community College, 96-82, Wednesday night at Lough Gymnasium.
The win kept the Catamounts undefeated and in first place in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference as Wilson scored 18 points and had six assists and three steals. Emile Payne scored 15 points and had a team-high 12 rebounds, while Travis Williams scored 14 points, and Ryland Newman 13.
Both teams hit 10 three-point goals, Wilson leading Potomac State with four, with the Catamounts hitting holding a 35-34 edge in field goals, but going 16-for-18 from the free-throw line to Westmoreland's 4-for-9.
Westmoreland was led by Eric Johnson with 25 points and Alexander Eric with 21. Shane Dickert scored 12 on four three-point goals.
Potomac State (11-5 overall, 5-0 in the WPCC) will play again today, 7 p.m., at Beaver.
