Lake Erie men dominate FSU, 88-66

PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Lake Erie used a 54-point second half and had five players score in double figures in defeating Frostburg State in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference game.

Lake Erie (10-5, 6-2) led by only 34-29 at halftime, then shot 18-for-31 (58 percent) from the field, including a blistering 86 percent from three-point range (6-for-7) and the free-throw line (12-for-14) in the second half to pull away.

The Bobcats (3-13, 2-7) were led in scoring by Brian Green with 21 points. Jade Belt added 12 points and nine rebounds.

Matt Moore led the Storm with 21 points, 15 in the second half, on a near perfect afternoon. He was 7-of-8 from the field, 3-of-4 from beyond the arc and 4-of-4 from the free throw line.

Frostburg State will host Penn State Behrend Saturday at 3 o'clock.
