PSC wins 11th straight, 99-91

Crawford, Williams score 45 points

KEYSER — Five of the six Potomac State players that scored reached double figures as the Catamounts won for the 11th consecutive game with a 99-91 showing over the Community College of Beaver County.

Eli Crawford scored 23 points to lead the Cats, and Travis Williams added 22. Chad Wilson garnered a double-double by scoring 13 points also grabbing 10 rebounds, and also had six assists. Crawford added eight rebounds and four steals to his point total, and Hosea Berkeley finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and four steals.

PSC was 7-for-10 from outside the three-point line during the first half which helped it to a 60-51 lead by halftime. Beaver ran back at the Cats in the second half, and was able to go up by 10 points with 10 minutes to play.

Potomac then went inside, where Berkeley and Crawford flourished despite giving up seven inches in height to the Titans’ inside players.

Nader Shehadeh scored 15 points for PSC, while Emile Payne missed double digits in scoring by totaling eight.

The Titans received 19 points by P.J., McDurfee, and 18 from Ramon Austin.

Potomac State is now 7-0 in the conference and 14-5 overall. It stays in conference play for a Wednesday game at home against CCAC-Allegheny.
