Roach's 21 leads Germantown over Allegany College, 68-64

GERMANTOWN - Tyrone Roach scored 21 points in leading Montgomery-Germantown to a 68-64 win over Allegany College of Maryland, for the Trojans fourth consecutive loss.
Allegany improved to 8-9 with a win over Anne Arundel on Jan. 19, but have not won since. ACM is also 1-3 against its last four Maryland JUCO opponents.
"We have to learn how to win," is how Trojans coach Mike Baker summed up his team's performance.
"We didn't come out in the first half with any intensity, and we had some chances to win but couldn't hit our foul shots, and had turnovers."
George DeGroat scored 17 points and had 15 rebounds in the loss, with Ru White recording 14 points and nine rebounds. Nathan Herriott provided nine points and seven rebounds.
The Trojans (8-13, 8-6 JUCO) play Saturday, at home against Howard.
