Vinson leads PSC's rout with 18 points

KEYSER - Donavin Vinson scored 18 points and Hosea Berkley had 11 points and team highs with six rebounds and four assists as Potomac State overpowered the visiting West Virginia Wesleyan jayvees, 101-75, Thursday evening.

The Catamounts put up 60 first-half points and broke the 100-point mark for the fifth time in 10 games.

Chad Wilson had 14 points, Tony Bethea 13, D.J. Summers 10 and Emile Payne and Travis Williams nine for Potomac State, which held a 60-34 halftime cushion.

Vinson also had four rebounds and three steals and Williams dished out four assists.

The balanced Potomac State attack helped offset a big night by Wesleyan's Jordan Watson, who made 16 field goals for 32 points.

The Catamounts (5-5) begin Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference play on Saturday, at home, in a 2 p.m. game with Pitt-Titusville.
