BARTON — Melvin Glenn “Mick” Fazenbaker Jr., 52, of 19208 Legislative Road, Barton, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at his residence.
Born Sept. 6, 1956, in Frostburg, he was the son of the late Melvin Fazenbaker Sr. and Phyllis (Fazenbaker) Fazenbaker.
“Mick” was a United States Naval veteran. He was a welder, having worked in the sheet metal union. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
He leaves behind a son, Brad Fazenbaker and girlfriend Chastity, of Barton; a sister, Gail Fazenbaker, of LaVale; a granddaughter, Madison Fazenbaker, of Barton; and Mick’s girlfriend, Heidi Costilow, of Barton.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Boal Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Park officiating.
Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
