GRANTSVILLE - New Germany State Park will host an evening of acoustic music, featuring musicians Greg Latta and Dean Shumaker, on June 24 and July 29.

Latta is most well known for his hammered dulcimer playing and is a three-time winner of the Mid-Eastern Hammered Dulcimer Championships. Latta and Shumaker are proficient at more than 15 musical intruments, and will entertain the audience with their styles of Appalachian, classical, traditional and modern bluegrass and old-time tunes.

Both concerts will begin at 7 p.m. at the New Germany Lakehouse.

On Aug. 19, the musical entertainment continues when Bob Hansel visits New Germany for a concert.

Hansel plays acoustic guitar, bass guitar, harmonica, and mandolin. The Pittsburgh area singer-songwriter's repertoire consists of many originals as well as covers. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. at the lakehouse.

The concerts are free to the public and suitable for all ages.
