HYNDMAN, Pa. — State police arrested a Buffalo Mills man Thursday in connection with two recent robberies at Hyndman’s Dollar General store.

Jared Adam Ohler, 36, was charged with robbery and more than a dozen other charges.

He was arraigned Thursday and jailed on $150,000 bond at the Bedford County Jail.

The Center Street business was robbed Dec. 14 and Jan. 2 and both times the suspect brandished a pistol, police said.

Police also arrested Mary Edna Hogamier, 33, who was charged with robbery and related charges in connection with the Jan. 2 robbery.

She was being held at the Bedford County Jail on $150,000 bond, which she posted for her pre-trial release.

The suspects were reportedly tied to the robberies through investigation and review of video surveillance in the area of the Dollar General store that matched a suspect vehicle.

Police filed the charges after encountering Ohler and Hogamier recently during a traffic stop in Bedford County.
