CUMBERLAND — Police charged a 19-year-old city woman with assault Friday afternoon after her boyfriend reported that she punched and bit him in the arm, according to Cumberland Police report.
Shanna Marie Lantz faces charges of second-degree assault and disorderly conduct following the incident, which reportedly occurred just before 4 p.m. in the 300 block of Arch Street.
Before police left the scene, two more people were facing criminal charges.
According to a police report, as Lantz was being escorted to a patrol car, another subject, John Dillsworth, arrived and began arguing with the victim, Richard Comire. Officers arrested both men after they refused to stop arguing, the report said.
Dillsworth, 26, was charged with disturbing the peace and failure to obey a lawful order. Comire, 22, was charged with disorderly conduct.
Comire was issued a criminal citation and released from the scene pending trial in district court, police said. Dillsworth and Lantz were being held on $2,000 bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
