FROSTBURG — PharmaCare, 10601 New Georges Creek Road, has become a contract postal unit of the U.S. Postal Service, offering a wide variety of services, according to USPS spokeswoman Freda Sauter.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place Oct. 19 at 11 a.m.
Customers can purchase stamps, mail letters and packages, and buy nearly all mailing services, including domestic and international, at the same prices offered at post offices.
“The CPU provides a full range of postal products and services with the exception of money orders,” said Frostburg Postmaster Lisa Mills. “The PharmaCare location is another way we are extending our services to customers and making it more convenient to do business with us.”
The new postal unit will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
PharmaCare West, 64 Greene St. in Cumberland, opened as a contract postal unit in May.
