Did early voters get it right? Check it out and compare the numbers as the ballots cast today are compared to the 1.6 percent of county Republicans and Democrats who cast a ballot during Maryland's first effort at early voting, which ended last week.

Early on, it does not look good for Allegany County Commissioners Jim Stakem, Bob Hutcheson and Dale Lewis in the Democratic and Republican primaries.

Polls for the 2010 primary election closed across Maryland at 8 p.m. Now, voters will watch online or listen to various media outlets as results from Allegany County's 36 polling places.
