CUMBERLAND — Elsa Ray Lamp, 75, of Cumberland, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at Devlin Manor Nursing Home.
Born April 2, 1938 in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Roy Dean Lamp and Grace Lucille (Crowe) Lamp.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean (Mills) Lamp; two sons, Elza Lamp and Matthew Lamp; two brothers, Richard Lamp and Madison Lamp; a sister, Maxine McDonald; and a granddaughter, Trista Jean Lamp.
Mr. Lamp had done masonry work in the area. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing with his family.
Survivors include his four children, Troy Dean Lamp, and wife Tiffany, Hagerstown, Joseph Ray Lamp, and wife Kelly, Flintstone, David Luke Lamp, Kentucky, and Kathi Ann Propst, and husband Bill, Oldtown; three brothers, Raymond Wayne Lamp, and wife Donna, Cresaptown, Ronald Eugene Lamp, and wife Fran, Wellington, Ohio, and Kevin Dean Lamp, Frostburg; three sisters, Norma Lee Pfister, Cresaptown, Brenda Darlene Kielczewski, Cumberland, and Eleanor Grace Bauer, Clearwater, Fla.; grandchildren, Tiffany, Taylor, Trista, Joey, Matthew, Kristina, Kimberly, and Kaylee; great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
The Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, is handling the private arrangements.
