MARY A. “ANGIE” COOK [Cresaptown]

CUMBERLAND — CRESAPTOWN — Mary Angela “Angie” Cook, 85, of Cresaptown, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at home.

Born on Oct. 21, 1927, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Floyd Christopher “Chris” Hauser and Anastasia (Mullen) Hauser. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lindbergh David Cook; a son, Russell Cook; a sister, Ursula Clem and a brother, Joseph Hauser.

Angie was a homemaker and also worked for Cresaptown Cut-Rate. Angie loved cats, playing bingo and was an avid reader. She was very devoted to her husband and was a wonderful grandmother to all her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Ketterman and husband Lee; two sons, James Cook and wife Sandi and David Cook; two sisters, Jean Rice and Frannie Catlett and five grandchildren Russell Ketterman, Andria Cook, Jennifer Hall and husband Robert,  Brianne Cook, and Kadey Cook.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. ( Cresaptown, on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
