— OAKLAND — Dorothy Elizabeth “Timmie” (Tasker) Lohr, 76, was called home on Dec. 25, 2013 surrounded by her family.  

Born on May 29, 1937 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late James Mahlon and Ethel Savillah (Tusing) Tasker.  

She had been a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Oakland and had attended both the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Swanton and the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Oakland.  

She is survived by her children, Kathy Lohr, Amy Lohr and William C. Lohr Jr., all of Swanton; two sisters, Lucille Ludvigsen and Arlena Dilley of Oakland; and a number of nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 39 years, William C. Lohr Sr.; three brothers, Henry Tasker, Norman Shrout, and Carlton “Moose” Tasker; and five sisters, Mary Shrout, Ruth Twigg, Elsie Nair, Carrie Lohr and Baby Girl Shrout.  

Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.  

A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Matthews officiating.  

Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
