— CUMBERLAND — Gregory Samuel Hutzell Sr., 45, of Cumberland, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 in Indianapolis Ind.  

Born on Aug. 15, 1968 in Cumberland, he was the son of Roger Hutzell and step-mother Betty and Mary Ann Walters and step-father James.

Greg was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Samuel and Martha Hutzell and his biological father, Robert Mitten.

Greg was a truck driver for many years and loved his profession. He was a loving son and wonderful father. Greg will be missed by his parents, his sisters, his children and all that loved him. He was the light of our life.

Surviving are his parents, Roger and wife Betty and Mary Ann and husband James; sister, Debra Belt and husband Gary; his fiancé, Amy McDonald; his children, Amanda Shrout, Gregory Hutzell Jr. and Trisha Ann Hutzell and Hunter Hutzell; grandson, Robert Shrout; niece, Heather Belt; nephew, Dylan Belt; Trisha Ann and Hunter resided with their dad. Also surviving is his aunt, Jeanne Turner and uncle, Bill, uncle Fred Andrew Propst and aunt Paula, uncle, Alvin Hutzell, and uncle, James Hutzell. Surviving also is his biological mother, Judy Atwater.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. ( 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Thursday 2 to 5 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rick Willinghurst officiating.

Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery, Flintstone.
