— RIDGELEY, W.Va. — Francis M. Largent, 87, of Ridgeley, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Dawn View Center.

Born Oct. 27, 1925, in Needles Run, W.Va., he was the son of the late Clarence and Ruth (DeHaven) Largent. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Madeline W. Largent; and two brothers, Don and Clarence Largent..

Mr. Largent was a retired pipefitter for CSX Railroad and was a member of Wiley Ford Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are two sons, Duane L. Largent and wife Karen, Short Gap, W.Va., Brian L.  Largent and wife Lisa, Short Gap; one brother-in-law, Brice E. Weese and wife Maxine, Cumberland; two grandchildren, Kendra Largent and Ashley Largent.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, ( on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Benny R. Brakeall and the Rev. Paul Dietz officiating.

Interment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.
